VHS VIDEOS

In Europe and Australia the TV sets and therefore also the video recorders use a different system to the USA and most of the rest of the world. Although we still use a VHS cartridge you would only see a snowstorm if you played one in standard USA equipment. You can now buy video machines that will play back both systems, or alternately have a European PAL system video converted to USA, NTSC format. We believe that this can usually be carried out by a video specialist shop for between $15 and $25 each tape.
All the videos that we have for sale are in the European PAL system, the USA format is rarely, if ever offered for sale in Europe since hardly anyone has the correct equipment to show them.
